Flying Jellyfish Eyes
Flying Jellyfish Eyes is inspired by Takashi Murakami and his work titled Jellyfish Eyes. Takashi Murakami's work came to attention during a week long stay in San Francisco for O'Reilly's Fluent JavaScript conference. The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) was showing his amazing work Supernova and from here Jellyfish Eyes was stumbled upon. You can view the source inspiration here. In looking at the work from a programmatic perspective it seemed a fun challenge to recreate the core eye structure in code. Flying Jellyfish Eyes is the result.
